OUR STANDARD
Code of Conduct
1. Purpose
This Code of Conduct defines the basic standards of behavior required to maintain a safe, respectful, and professional workplace, and to protect the trust of our customers, partners, and society.
2. Our Values
VE-TRI is committed to the following values:
- Integrity: Act honestly and follow rules and laws
- Respect: Treat everyone with dignity and professionalism
- Accountability: Take ownership of work and continuously improve
- Customer Focus: Deliver value and build trust through quality
3. Professional Conduct
All members are expected to:
- Communicate respectfully in person, email, chat, and meetings
- Practice appropriate reporting, communication, and escalation
- Meet deadlines and honor commitments
- Support teamwork and constructive collaboration
4. Anti-Harassment & Non-Discrimination
VE-TRI has zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, intimidation, or discrimination.
Examples include (but are not limited to):
- Abusive language, threats, humiliation, or personal attacks
- Inappropriate jokes, comments, or repeated unwanted behavior
- Sexual harassment of any form (verbal, physical, or visual)
- Discrimination based on protected characteristics
- Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith
5. Safety & Violence Prevention
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Violence or threats of violence
- Any behavior that endangers others or the workplace
- Serious disruption of workplace order or operations
6. Conflicts of Interest
Avoid situations where personal interests may conflict with VE-TRI’s interests. You must disclose potential conflicts in advance.
Example:
- Outside work that competes with VE-TRI
- Financial interests or close relationships affecting business decisions
- Procurement, hiring, or approval decisions involving relatives or close contacts
7. Confidentiality & Information Protection
You must protect VE-TRI and customer/partner confidential information.
Examples:
- Customer data, contracts, pricing
- Proposals, designs, source code
- Internal documents, processes, know-how
Rules:
- Share confidential information only on a need-to-know basis
- Do not forward work materials to personal accounts
- Comply with all NDA obligations
- Report any suspected loss or leakage immediately
8. Acceptable Use of Company Resources
Company devices, accounts, networks, and tools must be used responsibly.
Not allowed:
- Illegal or inappropriate activities
- Excessive personal use that impacts work
- Installing unapproved software that creates security risks
- Sharing passwords or misusing access privileges
9. Basic Information Security Practices
Everyone must follow these minimum practices:
- Use strong passwords and enable MFA where available
- Lock your screen when away
- Be cautious of suspicious emails and phishing attempts
- Report incidents (mis-sent emails, device loss, data exposure) promptly
10. Customer, Partner, and Vendor Conduct
When representing VE-TRI:
- Be accurate and honest in all communications
- Do not make commitments you cannot keep
- Maintain professional behavior during meetings, travel, and events
- Protect customer confidentiality and follow engagement rules
11. Gifts, Hospitality & Anti-Bribery
VE-TRI prohibits bribery and improper influence.
- Do not offer, request, or accept anything that could influence business decisions
- Follow applicable laws and customer/vendor policies
- If unsure, consult your manager or the appropriate internal contact
12. Reporting Concerns (Speak Up)
If you see a violation of this Code of Conduct or have concerns, report it promptly.
Reporting channels (examples):
- Your manager
- HR / Administration
- Leadership / Responsible manager
We will handle reports as confidentially as possible and respond appropriately.
13. Non-Retaliation
VE-TRI prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith or participates in an investigation.
14. Investigations & Disciplinary Action
Violations may result in corrective action, including:
- Coaching, warnings, or corrective guidance
- Access restriction or suspension
- Contract termination, disciplinary action, or dismissal
- Legal action where necessary
